Hastelloy C-276 Is a nickel-containing tungsten - chromium - molybdenum alloy, very low carbon content
of silicon is considered to be a panacea corrosion-resistant alloys. The main moisture chlorine, various
oxidizing chloride, chloride salts, sulfuric acid and oxidizing salt, in a low temperature and medium temperature hydrochloric acid has very good corrosion resistance. Thus, nearly three decades, corrosion in harsh environments, such as chemical, petrochemical, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper, environmental protection and other industrial fields has a very wide range of applications.
Corrosion properties
The alloy has the following characteristics: 1.two in oxidizing and reducing atmosphere state, for most corrosive media has excellent corrosion resistance. 2. has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. Higher Mo, Cr content of the alloy corrosion resistant to chlorine ions, W elements to further improve the corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, Hastelloy C-276 alloy is one of only a few resistant to moisture chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide-corrosive material, high concentrations of chloride salts such as ferric chloride and copper chloride have significant corrosion resistance. Applicable to various concentrations of sulfuric acid solution, it is one of the few materials can be used in hot concentrated sulfuric acid solution.
